MET GALA: What if Pageants meet MET?

MET GALA! Every year, the entire world pauses and watches this honourable fashion extravaganza every first Monday of May. When I say, pauses, I literally mean it. I mean look at me, I pause my sleep to check it on a tuesday (Time difference, duh). I do a very simple ritual by reading about the theme and which celebrity actually followed it. Then down to the annual pageant-like analysis of the styles on my social media. 

This year the theme really excites me. It's all about florals, secret garden, elegance and somewhere honouring the archival styles done right. The non-pageant world, as evident, is definitely getting hold of the archival closet to style some of the memorable looks.

But have you ever wondered, because I have, what would pageant styles look like on the colour changing carpet of MET Gala. Let's take a look:

As I said, the garden is full of flowers that will bloom in style and COLOUR! I think these gowns would've radiated the same on 2024 carpet

For the 2023 theme, it was all about honouring the black and white glamourous legacy of Karl Lagerfeld

The 2022 theme expressed the fascination of Glided age, and these gowns glowed in same radiance

When in doubt, do it CAMP! and these pageant gowns amplified doing it with finesse

Talk about HEAVENLY BODIES! Though this theme explored faith and dedication, these silhouettes would've rocked the carpet to HEAVENS

For honouring the Chinese influence on fashion, I am sure these styles will do it the justice to the 2015's MET's theme
