GRAND REVEAL: THE GOWN OF THE YEAR IS....
The time is finally HERE! Welcome to the Grand Reveal of GOWN OF THE YEAR 2024! For the past week, we rejoiced at the selection of the style that promoted fashion forwardness and will be the face of the future of pageantry fashion!
Before I reveal, I want to thank each one of you for engaging, promoting and showing love for the entire duration of this mini celebration. To the fantastic designers of these winning gowns, thank you for allowing the pageant scenario to be more fashionable and stream in colours unimaginable!
As a fashion editor of this blog, it gave me an immense pleasure to plan and execute this segment as a way to conclude the fashionable year 2024 was.

The 4th Runner up spot belongs to….MISS GLOBAL 2024
Designed by Minh Tuan Couture, this masterpiece grew to be one of the favourites from the duration of the competition. With its inspiration from the Phoenix, it is one of the rare gowns that have successfully translated a direct inspiration on a style.

Locking the 3rd Runner up spot is…MISS COSMO 2024
Designed by Maison Met, the first ever winning style of the first ever Miss Cosmo is a breathtaking throwback to the 2000s style. Powerful yet elegant, this style tells us how we can reinvent styles and make them timeless for ages to come.

Now onto the TOP 3…
The 2nd Runner up is…MISS WORLD 2024
Designed by GL GarlateDesign, this style is epitome of defining Miss World style. It fused classic royalty with new edginess represented in its embroidery work. Truly a sight to behold!

The 1st Runner up is…MISS UNIVERSE 2024
Designed by Zafra Couture, this style became the only second style in pink to win in the 73 years of Miss Universe. One of the best parts of the 73rd Miss Universe, this style was a standout in the whole night of the finale and among our selection panel.

MISS GRAND INTERNATIONAL 2024!
Designed by Thuong Gia Ky, this show stopping style aced everyone’s picks by winning popular choice and almost 3 other subtitles on Gown of the Year 2024. From its unique engineering to the colour scheme, this gown managed to bring the inspiration of Phoenix’s flames quite aptly. Congratulations to the designer for bringing such a unique gown to life as India won its first Miss Grand International crown in it!
With this, we conclude the first ever GOWN OF THE YEAR 2024! Good night, everyone!

Designed by Jessie Gunawan Studio, this design is a perfect example of matching the crown of Miss Supranational in silver-blue tones. I think it is a great addition to the legacy of Miss Supranational which is becoming more energetic and lively with each passing edition.
That being said, we will reveal the winner in reverse order (Madam Julia Morley will be proud :)
