From Hesitation to Her Voice: The Rise of Miss Eloquence – Fall ’25

When her name was announced as the very first Miss Eloquence – Fall ’25, disbelief met gratitude in equal measure. Standing among a lineup of remarkable contestants, Bhavana never imagined that the crown celebrating communication would find its way to her, especially not after the journey she had taken to get there.

“I struggled a lot with articulation when I first entered pageantry,” she admits. And yet, that very struggle became her greatest strength.

Being crowned Miss Eloquence was not just a title, it was proof of transformation. Proof that growth is possible. Proof that confidence is built, not born. This title was not just a win for Bhavana. It was a reminder that growth listens when the heart is willing.

The Hardest Conversations Are the Ones We Have With Ourselves

Ironically, the most challenging part of the competition wasn’t the debate stage or the finale spotlight for Bhavana, it was the personal interview.

“Talking about others comes naturally,” Bhavana says. “But when it comes to talking about yourself, it becomes surprisingly difficult.”

Her earlier introductions felt rehearsed, almost mechanical. The breakthrough came when she stopped trying to impress and started trying to connect. By allowing herself to relax and simply be, she discovered that authenticity speaks louder than perfection.

A Final Answer Rooted in Truth, Not Perfection

Bhavana’s final answer left the judges deeply impressed, not because it was flawless, but because it was honest. She chose conviction over polish, sharing a truth she had lived: You don’t need to be great at the beginning. You only need to be willing to begin.

Finding Confidence, One Word at a Time

Miss Eloquence has changed how Bhavana sees herself. Where doubt once lived, confidence has taken root.

“This journey gave me hope,” she reflects. “It made me believe in my voice.”

Beyond communication, it unlocked leadership, the courage to stand by one’s thoughts, to speak with purpose, and to trust one’s inner compass.

A Mentor’s Lesson That Stuck

Among all the guidance she received, one lesson from mentor Anushka Lekharu stood out for its simplicity: “Keep smiling.” It may sound small, but to her, it carries depth. Life’s pressure doesn’t disappear, but how we face success and failure defines us. A smile, Bhavana believes, is resilience in its gentlest form.

Choosing a Side, Owning a Voice

Every round offered growth, but the Personal Interview and Debate & Discussion rounds pushed Bhavana the most.

Naturally calm and diplomatic, she was challenged to choose a side and stand firmly by it, even in uncertainty. That experience taught her that clarity doesn’t always mean being right; sometimes, it means being brave enough to commit.

To Every Aspiring Pageant Girl

Bhavana’s message to her fellow sisters is reassuring and real: None of us start as the best version of ourselves. Growth happens along the way.

“Trust the process,” she says. “Enjoy the journey, it’s a limited phase of life. The people you meet and the lessons you learn will matter far more than the crown itself.”

Using Her Platform to Plant Hope

As Miss Eloquence, she wants to become living proof that dreams are not abandoned simply because they feel heavy. “I want people to believe in themselves, especially when they feel they can’t go on anymore.”

What Eloquence Truly Means

For Bhavana, eloquence is not about volume or vocabulary. “It means being unapologetically yourself.” Knowing who you are. Knowing what you stand for. And having the courage to voice it on stage and in life.

The First Step Forward

Looking ahead, Bhavana’s first goal is simple yet powerful: To encourage people to speak, even if their voice shakes. “You don’t have to be perfect,” she says. “Just take the first step. Allow yourself to be seen, judged, and to learn.”

Because sometimes, eloquence begins not with flawless words — but with the courage to speak at all.
